    Common Questions

Can you explain why it looks like I have more blackheads when I use UNBLEMISH Regimen?

When the dead skin cells and oil stagnate in pores, they turn from a light grey to black as the oil oxidizes. If your skin appears to have more blackheads, don’t be alarmed. UNBLEMISH Spot Fading Toner contains hydroquinone that may stain and accentuate these plugs. As the acne fighting medicines clear the plugs, the pores will become less noticeable.

A quick fix is to use the UNBLEMISH Acne Treatment Sulfur Wash as a 10 minute pore-clearing mask on dry skin three times a week.

You may wish to consult with a dermatologist or aesthetician to extract stubborn blackheads.

I heard that you can use the ANTI-AGE Gentle Exfoliating Wash as a mask. How much do I use and how long do I leave it on my skin?

We recommend using ANTI-AGE Gentle Exfoliating Wash as a mask three times per week. Wet fingertips and massage a quarter-sized amount of product onto dry skin.  Cover the entire face with a thin coat of product, avoiding contact with the eyes. Allow product to dry completely.  Rinse thoroughly with water and pat dry. Apply your remaining skincare products.
